GhostShorts condenses the post into a spoken script, generates the narration, and syncs the captions to the audio word by word over a looping background clip, then exports a 1080x1920 MP4 you can upload as-is. The whole job is three inputs: the post, a length, and a tone.
Previewing is free and does not need a card. You paste a post, the script gets written, and the short plays silently in your browser at the real timing and the real look, built from your own writing. That preview costs nothing to run, which is why we can give it away rather than metering it. Narration and the clean MP4 are on the plan, and the plan is the same one that covers every other GhostShorts format, so this is not a separate subscription.
On your own posts and on pages that are publicly readable, yes. Anything behind a login, a paywall, or a consent wall it will not reach, and we do not attempt to get around those. In practice this matters less than it sounds, because pasting the text works identically and is what most people use for newsletter issues that only went to the list, for drafts that are not live yet, and for anything still sitting in a CMS.
A text to speech tool reads your post out loud, all 1,400 words of it, and you are left with an eleven-minute audio file and no video. The hard part of repurposing is not the voice, it is the cut: deciding what the post is actually claiming and throwing away the ninety percent that supports it. That editorial pass is the product here. The narration and the captions are the easy end.
Yes, and you should. The script lands in an editor before anything is narrated, so you can tighten a line, cut a sentence, or rewrite the opening in your own phrasing. The generated version is a strong first draft rather than a finished one, and the first sentence in particular is worth your attention, because that is the whole hook and it decides whether the rest of the video is watched.
Anywhere that takes 9:16: YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. LinkedIn is the one marketers underuse, because a condensed argument from a company blog is native to that feed in a way it is not on TikTok. Same file, different framing in the caption you write around it. Nothing about the export is platform-locked.
The useful version is a batch, not a trickle. Set aside an hour, work through your ten best-performing posts, and cut two or three shorts from each, which is a month of daily posting from writing that already exists. That works because publishing cadence and posting cadence are different problems: you can reasonably write one good post a week, and you cannot reasonably film thirty videos. Repurposing is what closes that gap without adding a production step to your week.
A video made from your own article is not duplicate content in the sense search engines care about, and posting the same idea in a different medium is normal publishing. The real risk is different and worth naming: an account that publishes visibly identical videos with only the words changed gets tired quickly, both for the algorithm and for the people watching. Vary the background and the caption style, write your own hooks, and let the account have a point of view rather than a template.
