The agreement between you and GhostShorts as a partner
You earn 30% of every payment a customer you referred makes to GhostShorts, for their first 6 months. Commissions clear after 30 days and are paid by PayPal once your balance passes $25. Disclose every post that carries your link, and never refer yourself.
The clauses below are the agreement itself. Where this summary and a clause disagree, the clause governs.
You earn 30% of every payment a referred customer makes to GhostShorts, including subscriptions, renewals, upgrades and credit top-ups, during the 6 months after that customer's first successful payment. The base is the amount the customer actually paid after any discounts and before taxes. A payment of $0 (for example a fully discounted month) earns nothing. Your individual rate and duration are shown in your partner dashboard and may differ from these defaults if we agreed otherwise in writing.
A referral is tracked when a visitor's first visit to ghostshorts.com in 400 days arrives through your link, and they create their account in that same browser. If a visitor has already been tracked to another source (including a previous visit with no partner), your click is not counted and the referral is not yours. Existing GhostShorts customers cannot be re-attributed. Because of this, the click count in your dashboard undercounts your true reach; payments are the number that matters.
Commissions are pending for 30 days after the underlying payment, then become payable. This covers the refund and dispute window.
We send payouts by PayPal to the address in your dashboard, in the first week of each month, for payable balances of at least $25. Smaller balances roll forward. Amounts are in USD.
If a payment is refunded or disputed, the commission on it is reversed in proportion. Reversals reduce your pending or payable balance, and if that balance is already paid out, the negative amount is deducted from future commissions.
You may not: refer yourself or accounts you control; offer rebates, cash or rewards for signing up through your link; run paid search on "GhostShorts" or our brand terms; post your code or link on coupon or deal sites; send unsolicited messages or spam; use pop-unders, iframes or any technique that sets attribution without a real click; present yourself as GhostShorts staff.
Every post that includes your link must carry a clear sponsorship disclosure (for example #ad or #ghostshortspartner). Your statements about GhostShorts must be truthful. You may not promise or imply guaranteed income from using GhostShorts, and any earnings you show must be presented as your own results and not typical.
Either of us can end the partnership at any time. If it ends in good standing, customers you already referred continue to pay commission through their individual 6-month windows and no new referrals are credited. If it ends for breach of these terms or fraud, unpaid commissions are forfeited.
We may change these terms with 30 days' notice by email. Customers referred before a change keep the rate and duration in force when they were referred.
Your dashboard shows aggregate counts, amounts and plan tiers, never the identity of referred customers. You are an independent contractor responsible for your own taxes on payouts.
