It tries hard, and it is honest about the limits. Every destination carries period facts the script must use, and a period-accuracy guard checks the script and the image prompts for objects that did not exist yet (no glass windows in medieval street houses, no trains before 1830, no power lines before 1880). It is still an AI illustration of the past, not a documentary, so check any fact before you post it as one.
No. The presenters are six fixed, fictional AI adults on purpose: it keeps anyone’s real likeness, yours included, out of a made-up scene in the past. Pick the presenter whose voice and personality fit your channel and they stay the same in every vlog.
A handful of catalogue moments are real tragedies. In those the presenter is a bystander on the day: you see the place and the mood, never a death, a body or a named victim. Some events are never available at all, including the Holocaust, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, 9/11 and anything after 1999.
