Paste a YouTube link. GhostShorts transcribes the video with word-level timing, an AI reads that transcript for self-contained moments, and each one is cut to 9:16 with captions burned in. Up to twenty clips per video, twenty to ninety seconds each.

Talking content, like podcasts, interviews, video essays, streams, and webinars. The AI finds moments by what is said (hooks, hot takes, question-and-answer arcs), so clear spoken audio produces the best clips. Clips default to a centered vertical crop, which suits single-speaker content; the editor lets you set the focal point, draw your own crop, or switch to 16:9, 1:1, or 4:5. There is no automatic speaker tracking, so the framing you set is held for the whole clip.
Each clip gets a score that ranks it against the others in your batch by how strong a standalone short it makes (hook, flow, self-containedness). The score orders your best moments first. It is a ranking, not a view prediction.
Up to two hours of source per video. That is a processing limit rather than a rejection: paste something longer and the first two hours are what gets processed and billed, so split a marathon recording into parts if the later material matters. Clipping is billed per minute of source processed, so a longer video simply uses more credits.
