🎙️ One episode, a week of posts

Turn Every Episode Into
A Week of Clips

Paste your episode’s YouTube link and AI reads the whole transcript, pulls the exchanges that stand on their own, and captions them for a muted vertical feed. Your first clip is free.

Built for podcasters

The episode took four hours. The clips take the rest of the week.

Every show runs into the same wall. The recording is the fun part, the edit is manageable, and then there is a promo tail that wants five or six vertical clips per episode — which means somebody sits through the hour again with a notepad, timestamping. Week after week, that is the task that quietly stops happening.

GhostShorts reads the episode instead of watching it. Word-level timings come off the transcript, an AI scans the whole conversation, and it comes back with the exchanges that survive being pulled out of context: the guest actually answering the question, the anecdote with a punchline, the claim stated in one clean sentence rather than circled around for four minutes.

Then, because the whole transcript is sitting there, you can go looking. Type your guest’s company name, or the topic you teased in the trailer, and pull the clips about it out of the same episode.

  • Up to twenty clips per episode, twenty to ninety seconds each
  • Search the episode by topic and pull more clips about it, no extra credits
  • Word-synced captions in seventeen styles, so the clip works on mute
  • Fix a guest’s name in the caption track without touching the timing
  • Download the full script as a text file for show notes

Written for the mute scroll

Podcast clips are watched with the sound off more often than not. Captions are word-synced with the active word highlighted, burned into the file, in seventeen styles you can switch per clip.

Topic search on your own episode

Ask for the segment on pricing, or everything the guest said about their raise, and get clips back about that. Ten searches per episode, none of them billed.

Show notes fall out of it

The transcript panel is word-synced and searchable, and the whole script downloads as a .txt. The writing you were going to do by hand is already sitting there.

Honest about framing

No speaker tracking, no auto-reframe. You pick full or fit, set a focal point, or draw a crop, and it holds for the clip. On a static two-shot that is usually all a show needs.

Honestly thought this was just another overhyped AI tool. But it actually delivers and is super easy to use. I already created 10 shorts in 1 day.

Tried a couple viral formats on the app. A month later... 10 million views. This app is stupid easy to use.

Paste the YouTube link for the episode. GhostShorts transcribes the whole thing with per-word timing, then an AI reads it looking for exchanges that make sense to someone who never heard the rest: a question and its answer, a story with a landing, a take stated plainly. Each one comes back as a captioned vertical clip.
Not yet. The source has to be a video episode with a YouTube link, so if you publish audio only, there is nothing for it to cut. Plenty of audio-first shows post a static-artwork or waveform video version to YouTube, and that works, but a clip cut from it will show that static frame rather than faces.
Up to twenty per episode, and honestly fewer when the episode does not hold twenty standalone moments. Each clip runs twenty to ninety seconds. A typical hour-long conversation gives you enough to post through the week without repeating yourself.
Yes, and it is the feature podcasters use most. After the episode is processed, type a topic — a guest’s company, a recurring segment, a question you promised to answer — and it searches the transcript and returns clips about it. Up to ten searches per episode and none of them cost extra credits.
Transcription is automatic and good, but every guest has a surname or a product name it will get wrong. You can edit any word in the caption track directly, and the timing is preserved when you do, so a fixed name still lands on the right frame.
Two hours of source per episode. Longer episodes still work, but only the first two hours are processed and billed, so split a three-hour episode into two links if the last act matters.
No, and it is worth being clear about that. There is no speaker tracking and no automatic reframing. Each clip uses a crop you control — full or fit, with a focal point you can set — held for the whole clip. On a two-mic setup, a centred or slightly offset crop on a two-shot is what most shows end up using.
The strongest moment from the first six minutes of your own episode, cut and captioned, playing in your browser. One per episode, no card. Processing the full episode into the whole batch is the paid step.
