Klap eats three-hour recordings and produces a thousand clips a month. GhostShorts starts from a blank page because nothing was ever recorded. The gap between those two jobs is the whole comparison.
Klap is priced and built for volume. Pro is $79 a month for thirty uploads of up to two hours each and three hundred clips out the other side. Pro+ is $189 for a hundred uploads at three hours and a thousand clips. That is agency and production-team territory, and against the cost of a human editor it is a bargain.
GhostShorts is $19.99 and does not ingest a three-hour recording at all. It makes short videos from scripts. Cheaper, yes, but cheaper in the way a bicycle is cheaper than a van.

Podcasts, webinars, streams, conference talks. Two to three hours per file, hundreds of clips a month, each scored for likely performance. We do not compete here and would not pretend to.
Plus 4K export. Two capabilities we simply do not have. If either is on your list, the comparison ends there.
A clipping engine needs something to clip. If you have never filmed anything and do not intend to, that is the whole reason to be on this side of the comparison.
A real difference, but only if you were never going to use the volume. Paying $79 for capacity you need is cheaper than paying $19.99 for a tool that cannot do the job.
