Long video in, vertical captioned clips out. A narrow product tends to be a well-made one, and there is something to be said for a tool that does not try to do everything.
We start at a script, not a file. For a faceless channel with nothing filmed, that is not a feature difference, it is the difference between a tool that works and one that cannot start.
Reddit threads, fake text arguments, split screens, quiz packs, top-five lists, articles turned into shorts. A clipping tool has no equivalent because it is not the same category.
